Turning waste into treasure: turning old books and newspapers into art sculptures
From kindergarten to university, after studying for so many years, young friends not only gain knowledge, but also old books. However, it is estimated that some of the old books of the young friends have gone to see Buddha like the editor did, because they feel that those books are useless, and the other part thinks that some old books that will still be useful are sleeping in the bookshelf. Perhaps those old books are of little use to us ordinary people and occupy space in bookcases, but these old books are very useful for some artists as creative materials.
Sculpture artist Nick Georgiou found inspiration from old books. He arranged old books and discarded newspapers in different colors and sequences, creating character sculptures and some flower sculptures. These character sculptures have both form and spirit, and the flower sculptures are beautiful and full of artistic beauty. Of course, the best thing is the innovative spirit of artists who turn waste into treasure.
From this perspective, even waste items still have their place of use, and interested friends can try to innovate some things!
